Biography

dencro3Dennis E. Wald is an attorney at Wald, Castillo & Wald, P.A.  Mr. Wald graduated from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973.  He received his Masters of Hebrew Letters (1978) and Doctorate of Divinity (2003) degrees from Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, Ohio.  His Juris Doctor degree was awarded by the University Of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida, in 1991.  He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991 and is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

 Prior to his legal career Mr. Wald served as a Rabbi at Florida International University's Hillel.  He later became the Executive Director of the American Jewish Congress for the State of Florida overseeing legal committees throughout the state on cases involving First Amendment and free speech issues.  Today his clients are made up of financial institutions, religious institutions, media outlets and construction firms.

 In addition to meeting his clients’ litigation needs and serving them in the capacity of corporate counsel, Mr. Wald has assisted his clients with the negotiations for the purchase and sale of their business.  Mr. Wald’s eclectic background helps him to bring a unique perspective to the table which has helped his clients find a simpler and quicker resolution for many of their issues.
